I'm new!

Postby ShinyBubbaJuice » Thu Nov 10, 2011 8:30 pm

Hello!!!!

My name is Maria and I live in PA. My boyfriend John and I inherited a 40 gallon fish tank with an Oscar in it. At first John didn't want to keep the tank, but eventually our Oscar, Bubba, grew on him! Bubba is currently about 7" in lenght. We then went to our local pet store to make sure Bubba had everything it needed to live a long and happy life and ended up leaving with a Jack Dempsey that is currently about 6"(named Shiny.) We also have added a small Pleco and just yesterday a large Placo. We are still new to all of this and any tips would be greatly appreciated! We are purchasing a 75 gallon tank on Sunday and are super excited! :lmao:

"I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire..."

hi and welcome to the site :fro:
i would consider a 90 gallon its the same foot print as a 75 but taller and the extra gallons will help you to maintain water quality
