My 135 gallon now has all four Oscars in it. Nala had been attacking and pinning SnowFlake against the glass.

Now in the 135 they kinda pair'd up. Simba has separated the two Luts while Raph just swims near Simba not attacking or showing any aggression at all.

If you remember Simba and Nala were together until Nala started showing aggression to Simba. Tables have turned. I am watching and seeing what will happen. The 70g is still up.

I will try and get a picture up here soon.

Filtration question: Would 3 x AquaClear 70s and an Ehiem 2217 work?

glad its working out. As for filtration, sound like it would be enough but im sure someone with more O experiance can help out on that!

Hi
I have all aquaclear 110's on my o tanks. Why don't you just buy one of them and get the canister?
The AC 110 filters 500 gph.. But my dream is to get a FX 5 with them to. lol Still working on getting that one. Maybe xmas I will ask for it. ;D

I had 2 of the 70's on my 70 gallon and 1 on my 36 gallon when I had them both running.

I wanted to buy the 110, but my wife said I could spend up to $300 on my 135 gallon. I doubled that already.

So, things have changed.

My Luts: Nala and Snowflake are now attacking and trying to kill Simba and Raphael.

I put a divider in the 135 gallon. I have checked my water Nitrate and Nitrites are 0 ppm. I don't know what else to check for.

Is there any chance the 4 of 'em will get along? That was the whole reason for the 135 gallon to condense to one tank.

135 gallons is still a little small for 4 oscars, and you may continue to have aggression issues if they're not separated. Based on what you have posted in this and other threads, it is likely that Nala will not tolerate other tank mates. She may get along with Snowflake now, but that may very well change once the others are dead/removed.

Nitrates should not be 0. You should always have a nitrate reading in a cycled tank. Less than 20 is great, 5-10 is optimal.

Agree with Nathan there...
Also ammonia should be 0 and nitrite 0. :fro:

I am using API master test. I was kinda hard to read it. Maybe I red it wrong or the change isn't that much. It was closer to 0 than the next increment.
