tiger oscar question

hey all so our lil guy is about idk 2 mabey 3 months old

in the last few days he has developed a white thing not to sure what it is in his mouth
hes eating just fine usual Oscar playful just curious to as what it is.?

these are not the greatest quality couldnt get him too sit still long enough to get a good one.

Have you noticed him digging a lot? Is the sore on the bottom lip or top?

That's my guess as well as he gets older and starts attacking his reflection in the glass you will see a sore turned callous like on his lower lip.

Is it actually in his mouth or more on his lip? If it's some of both it could be an injury from him trying to move some of the deco in the tank.

Agree...Keep the water pristine, feed a well balanced diet, watch for any changes and let us know if it's getting bigger or worse. I think it should heal up in no time.

It is just on his lower lip
But like I said it doesn't seem to be effecting him at all.

I think it might be an injury. As all have said keep the water clean and watch it for any changes. You'll probably have a look at it in a few days and it will be almost gone.

Yeah today is alot smaller I added some of that salt that helps
