No but to help stop them you need to feed them more veggies and fruit. Mine loved when I put sliced oranges, spinach, zucchini and or cucumbers on a feeding clip. The are herbivorous after all :)

Any ammonia is not good,so water change to bring it down.
What type of test kit? Drops-style (like API) are more accurate than strips, especially when cycling (new tank).
Know you are using Stability to cut cycling time,so dose exactly as for initial set-up (double-dosing is safe with this product).
Just think about it.

Do a water change to bring down the ammonia to 0. You never want any ammonia levels. The wound sounds like it is septic and could be starting to get infected...the cause could be the ammonia levels. Try waters changes and see if it helps. If it looks like it's getting worse in the next 24 hours you may have to try an antibiotic.

the water looks a little murky but i think thats because of the little emonia problem. ive already done one 10% water change because i wasent sure how to get rid of it??? so how do you. and yes hes eating alot better then he was, we have started to feed him different things like orange, banana, peas, and cucumber. he dident like the orange though. ive also noticed that he has changed color alot, he is alot more lighter colered all over. is that normal??? ???

If you mean like in your pics, yes that is perfectly normal.

The red in the pics looks fine, looks like blood vessels coming up to help new skin grow. Think it's going to heal nicely.
Just think about it.

If it were me I'd do at least 50% water changes, more like 75% to help bring the ammonia levels down.
Any day is a good day for watching the fish swim........

but ive heard doing big water changes is more harfull to fish then a reading of 0.25ppm . and i guess my tank is still cycling, so should i just test it everyday and if it gets any worse take action. and aswell my fish seem perfectly fine. there alot happier then they were in the smaller tank :)

Fresh water is good any time. Percentage doesn't matter as long as they are done as a regular routine.I regularly do around 90% water changes as my routine....fish seem to like it well enough.

I don't understand why you would be showing any ammonia if still using the Stability according to directions.Exactly how much filtration do you have on this tank?
Just think about it.

Good on trying the foods.

Up your water changes (don't be afraid). Right now any amount of ammonia long term will do more harm to your fish.
