i have a male beta gold barbs neons and two parrot fish and a few tetra's i dont know the name of.

Cool, I'm considering another tank project for this winter....planted community tank, though I'm terrible with plants....maybe just a nice community tank with fake plants My last few trips in the LFS I've found myself spending a fair amount of time checking out some of the community fish varieties.
