pest on my plants

this morning, i was about to remove old leaves of my plants..and surprised to see a lot of hairy worms
on the leaves...

last year, i was hit the same kinds of hairy worms and they look like this:

i belive there called tent worms they start out in white nests in the trees.

The names vary by location, but tent caterpillars, tent worms, army worms are a few of the names for moth larvae of this type.

in our place..they are called HIGAD.... once you press them against your skin will make you itch...
sometimes cause allergic reaction
and this is the moth after they mature...

nope...none of my fish like them!!!! i just remove them in my tank to avoid accidental rubbing with the skin

Kinda look similar to a caterpillar bug also. I think they might eat your plants.

indeed they are eating all the leaves of my plants... to the extent that no more leaves left >:( >:( >:(

but plants without leaves are fine with me...what i dont want to happen is if these critters happen to roll
over the skin of my grand kids... that would be very very bad...
