If it's not an Oscar or Discus (as they have their own forums), but a cichlid from Texas, Central or South America... This is the place to be! Terrors and Devils and Jacks oh my!
can i switch tanks after the breeding tube is down and she is starting to nest in a tank with an oscar i want to go from a 120 to a 75 will this disturb the breeding process
Nest,or actually laying?...or has already layed? At worse it will simply delay spawning...Convicts go if they want to go.Really not sure if they will come back to tend already layed eggs...probably to eat them at most.
Not a problem either way if wanting a spawn, they'll get to it once settled in anywhere.
You can do whatever you want with these little guys and they will breed! If you interupt a process, wait a week, and there will be a new batch! As long as they are healthy, they will breed. They're worse than guppies - or rats... Which is a good thing!
