Lighting adequate?

I just bought 2 bundles of anacharis plants each having about 6 plants each of 6-12". My lighting is two 32watt t-8 lamps a tropic sun 5500k and flora sun 5000k bulbs. Is that adequate for these plants in a 90gal? it equates to less then 1watt per gallon. With seachem flourish and flourish excel supplements.

What other plants are present ? ...and are you planting or floating it ?
I'm currently growing on some Anacharis in a 30g (nothing else in there,not even substrate) to add to other tanks.
Just running a simple T-12 single bulb and only supplementing with a tablespoon of Miracle-Gro (no fish) every few days.

I'm just floating it,so in close proximity to the light,and it's sprouting shoots (and throwing roots) and averaging an inch a day of dark green growth. If you are planting it,then the 1wpg probably isn't enough considering the depth of a 90g.
The supplements will help,it will grow,but imagine it might get "lanky" growth with that light.

No other live plants in the tank just an Oscar and bn Pleco. As soon as I put them in the water they sank but I'm guessing it had something to do with the plastic ties holding the bundles together.

You should loosen up the bundles. The plants usually start to rot back below them.
I just cut the ties,clean cut the stems at any dead growth,and just turn them loose. Once growing along the stems will throw out tendril roots trying to take hold of substrate.Free-floating,they'll come to surface near the light and with what you have that should encourage growth. Besides,they really don't look natural in bundles.

You were right some started to rot under the strap so I cut them just above that point. The out flow from my AC110 makes them sink to the bottom in a group until they get out of the flow but that's ok.

Even when I take them out of the flow and place them on opposite side they tend to sink too mid level

I put a few stems in the 20gal as that ha about a .75wpg ratio, the cherry red shrimp at in absolute love with them a soon as it hit the water they started flocking too it.
