Found this little guy the other day. must be from an earlier brood.

Size wise that is a plastic aquatic plant pot it is clinging to

I had one of those before and I couldn't find it for about 2 weeks.It was dead when I saw it last.Cool looking fish.

I was thinking of an entirely different type of whiptail. I've been incubating whiptail lizard eggs, and my first clutch is about to hatch.
